- Connect the **PCT-1000** output to the bus/primary circuit via the high-current cables.
- Place a **CT** on the conductor or use an external ammeter rated for the expected current.
- Ramp current smoothly to target; verify device response per test plan.
Tip: Keep leads short and tight; monitor temperature; follow the duty cycle (2.5 min ON / 10 min OFF).

- Wire the breaker’s **auxiliary contact** to the PCT-1000’s **timer input**.
- Start injection; the timer begins with output and **stops** when the aux contact changes state.
- Record trip time; repeat as needed and compare against limits.
Tip: For inverse-time curves, step current and capture trip times per point.
