Match the test frequency to the component’s intended operating range (e.g., 100/120 Hz for power caps, 1 kHz for general parts, up to 100 kHz+ for RF parts). Keep drive voltage/current appropriate to avoid device heating or bias effects.
Yes for low-resistance measurements (e.g., micro-ohms) to remove lead resistance. Use proper Kelvin clips/fixtures for best accuracy.
