Linear DC Power Supply
Low-noise bench supplies with constant voltage and constant current, single to four channels, analogue or programmable.
- 90 W to 600 W
- Series and parallel tracking
- Ripple around 1 mV rms
- USB, LAN and RS-232 on selected models
Supply it, or sink it
DC electronic loads and linear DC power supplies for characterisation, test and development. Low ripple where it matters, programmable where it helps, and someone on the end of the phone who has used them.

Buying an instrument from us comes with the part that is harder to buy: knowing whether it is the right one.
Advice on ripple, load regulation and transient response, for work where the noise on the rail ends up in the measurement.
Try a supply or a load against your own currents and power before you commit to it.
SCPI over USB, LAN and RS-232 on selected models, with logging and list sequencing.
One year warranty, with optional UKAS calibration arranged at the time of order.
Linear supplies give very low ripple and noise and a fast transient response, which is what sensitive analogue and RF work needs. Switching supplies are lighter and more efficient, which tells at high power. Everything in this category is linear.
Allow twenty to thirty per cent above your expected maximum load. That keeps inrush at switch-on and transients under load from pushing the supply into current limit, which looks like a fault and is not one.
Constant current, voltage, resistance and power cover most testing. Constant current for characterising a supply, constant voltage for a charger, and constant power for battery runtime, since constant power is what the device on the end of a battery actually draws.
