CRT‑100P / CRT‑200P Contact Resistance Tester

High‑current contact resistance testers for switchgear loops and DC cable resistance — continuous output (to puncture oxide layers), strong anti‑interference measurement and fast, precise results.

Why choose CRT‑100P / CRT‑200P?

Continuous high current
Breaks through oxide films for true contact resistance results (50/100 A on 100P; up to 200 A on 200P).
Anti‑interference
Stable readings in harsh EM environments — final digit typically varies within ±1 count.
Portable & rugged
Compact, light and field‑ready for substation work.
Touchscreen & storage
4″ touch display, 200 record memory with USB (U‑disk) export.

Where CRT‑100P / CRT‑200P excel

Ideal for high/low‑voltage switch contact resistance, DC cable resistance and factory loop resistance checks.

Switchgear loops
Measure contact/loop resistance on breakers and disconnectors.
Busbars & joints
4‑wire Kelvin clips isolate joint resistance from leads.
DC cable lines
Verify cable DC resistance and connections.
Factory QA
Meets typical utility specifications for loop resistance measurement.

Best for
Routine switchgear loops
When 50/100 A is sufficient
Heavier-duty joints & busbars Higher current
When 150–200 A is required to break oxide films
Typical outcome
Fast verification at standard currents
Improved stability on low-µΩ joints at higher drive
Tip: Choose CRT-200P if your procedures call for ≥150 A or stubborn oxide layers; otherwise CRT-100P is a lighter, simpler fit.

Keep sense points inside current points to avoid including lead or bolt contact resistance outside the joint.
Safety & good practice
• De-energize and isolate the asset; confirm lock-out/tag-out.
• Start with low current, verify polarity, then ramp as required (100P ≈100 A, 200P ≈200 A).
• Clean/secure contact points; avoid shared/painted surfaces; maintain firm clip pressure.
• Allow stabilization for thermal EMF; take multiple readings and average if needed.
