DTG-2000 Series Digital Pressure Test Gauge

A digital test gauge that replaces the precision pointer gauge on the bench and the pump: 0.2% of full scale including linearity and hysteresis, five digits with a bar graph, six units on one key, min and max capture, and 1200 hours on four AAA cells in a sealed stainless case. Choose the range, the output and the connection thread in the order code, or take one of the five standard versions from stock.

What it does
Four keys and a menu of three settings. Everything a test gauge needs and nothing that needs a manual open on the bench.
0.2% of full scale
Accuracy including linearity and hysteresis, compensated from −10 to 70 °C with temperature stability of 0.05% FS per degree. A piezoresistive sensor with nothing mechanical to wear.
Five digits and a bar graph
18 mm digits you can read across a plant room, with a bar graph across the top for the trend and a second line for min or max.
Six units on one key
kPa, bar, MPa, psi, kgf/cm² and mbar, stepped with P/UNIT and remembered at switch-off, so the gauge comes up in the unit you left it in.
Min, max and zero
MIN/MAX steps between the highest and lowest pressure seen since reset; RESET/ENT clears them. Zero is a menu operation, done with the port open to atmosphere.
IP65 in stainless
SUS304 case, SUS316 wetted parts, 3-inch diameter, 230 g. Rated for −10 to 60 °C and media to 80 °C.
1200 hours on four AAAs
A sampling interval from continuous to 99 seconds and a display timeout from always-on to 99 minutes let you trade update rate for battery life.

Where it is used
Pressure calibration
Fitted to a GPS hand pump as the reference gauge, with 0.2% FS accuracy against the 1% of a typical process gauge.
Hydraulics
The 350 and 700 bar ranges suit hydraulic power units and presses; burst pressure is three times full scale.
Air conditioning and refrigeration
Vacuum to 2 bar on the lowest range, with the −1 bar end reading the pull-down.
Food and process plant
Stainless throughout, IP65, and a units key for whichever the plant drawings are in.
Maintenance and commissioning
Min and max capture answers what a line saw overnight without anyone watching it.
With an output fitted
A switch or analogue output turns the gauge into a local indicator with an alarm or a signal to a PLC.

Kits with a GPS hand pump, hose and adapters are made up to order: the 721 pneumatic pump for the low ranges, the 711A water or 705 oil hydraulic pump for the high ones.
Before you order
The gauge is not intrinsically safe and must not be used in an explosive atmosphere. Zero it with the port open to atmosphere, never under pressure. Fit it with a spanner on the hexagon, not by turning the case. The cells are not fitted at delivery; the battery compartment is behind the rear cover and its sealing ring has to be seated on closing to keep the IP65 rating. Ranges other than the five standard ones are built to order, so allow for lead time.
